Board of Directors

The board of directors is comprised of parents and community members who meet monthly to guide the direction of the centre through policy development and strategic planning. Parents are welcome to attend monthly board meetings and, if interested, may be elected to the board.

Committees

Fulton’s governance includes a standing Human Resources committee which meets four times a year, with the following general objectives:

  • Assists and advises the board on human resource issues and policies
  • Assists the board in developing and following effective governance practices, in alignment with the centre’s mission, vision, values, goals, and objectives

Annual General Meeting

Every family attending Fulton automatically becomes a member of the Fulton Child Care Association and/or Fulton After School Association. One of the responsibilities of association membership is attendance at the centre’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) in May or June of each year. We must meet attendance quotas in order to pass important motions at the AGM. Your presence at the AGM is a valuable part of the governance of the centre. Child care and supper are provided.
